Bottom Line: Usher’s upset because fans at usherforever.com have been trash-talking his new fiance Tameka Foster. The problems come from the message board where fans prefer to call her “MAN-eka.” This is a term first coined by MediaTakeOut.com, who also speculates that Tameka is the one pushing for the legal action. Even though the popular site has had a good relationship with Usher in the past, it was recently contacted by lawyers threatening legal action if they don’t shut the site down. Another interesting aspect of this story is the possibility that Tameka herself is on the message board “Cursing out everyone who says even the smallest negative thing about Usher.” The administrator of usherforever.com claims another possibility for the threats– this possible motive involves Usher’s official fan site, which costs $30 per month. If usherforever.com is shut down, Usher stands to profit from users turning to the official site. Personally, I’m more inclined to believe that Usher is just plain whipped.
