Tony Yayo

July 25, 2007 - G-Unit Member Tony Yayo rejected a prosecutor’s deal in a NYC courtroom yesterday that would have sent him to jail for nine months if he pleaded guilty to assaulting the 14-year-old son of Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond.

Yayo whose government name is Marvin Bernard was charged with assault, and harassment and endagering the welfare of a child in March of this year. Yayo’s lawyer Scott Leemon rebuked the prosecution’s 9 month offer. Yayo is pleading Not Guilty to the charges.

The judge Neil Ross has held the case over until Sept. 6 , when he will rule whether or not to allow Leemon to subpoena e-mails between Rosemond’s Czar Entertainment and 5W Public Relations, a New York based PR firm.

Czar Entertainment is a management company co-founded by Rosemond in some of his clients includes as Iisted previously The Game, Brandy, Rick Ross, etc..

G-Unit has a history of conflicts for one reason or another. With all the bickering from the Young Buck situation, 50 forgetting lyrics at the BET Awards, among recent antics, the question begs as to whether we are witnessing the unravelling of G-Unit?
