MTV reports a plan to get Snoop into Australia. This “special project” is on the heels of a denial in April when Snoop tried to enter the country. MTV plans on featuring the rapper in a July 4th show, and may attempt to get him citizenship in order to get him into Australia. If you don’t remember, he was denied in April due to recent drug and gun offenses. Minister Kevin Andrews cited an incident at Heathrow Airport in the UK when stating that “he doesn’t seem the sort of bloke we want in this country.” It’s ironic that Snoop was denied for being a convict, considering that Australia’s first (white) settlers were convicts from overcrowded British prisons. Don’t worry Australia, we want Snoop back after the show!
