August 31, 2007 - On August 14, Foxy Brown was arrested for assaulting her 25 year old neighbor, by striking her in the face with a Blackberry during an altercation. The following day (August 15) she was arrested for allegedly giving officers a fictitious name during a traffic stop, driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended registration.
She was incarcerated on August 21 for alleged parole violations and was denied her bid for freedom by a Manhattan Supreme Court Justice on August 27.
Brown, who is three months pregnant and engaged to be married, feels that she is suffering in prison. Judge Laura Ward denied Foxy any special privileges and her petition to be released from Rikers.
