Star guard for the Denver Nuggets, Allen Iverson is being sued by two unidentified individuals who claim that he hit one of them over the head with a bottle during a fight between Iverson’s security and patrons at a downtown Washington bar in 2005. 50 Cent was not involved in the altercation; however the lawyers of the plaintiffs claim that 50 knew some of Iverson’s security and could testify at the trial about their behavior. 50’s lawyers claimed that since he [50] was not involved in the altercation and is not named in the lawsuit, he should not be forced to travel 100 miles from his home in Connecticut to testify. A federal judge agreed with the rappers’ position claiming that she had no jurisdiction to do so. Iverson’s trial begins June 27.
