August 21, 2007 - Method Man was convicted of Marijuana charges in May after toll booth workers in Brooklyn alerted authorities that the smell of Marijuana smoke emanated from his car. On Friday, August 17, he accepted a plea deal which orders him to complete a significant amount of community service in which he will be teaching kids about the dangers of drugs.
According to the New York Daily News, he will join the Choices and Consequences program of the Brooklyn district attorney’s office, which addresses and combats the use of drugs and alcohol in high schools.
