The Ludacris Foundation partnered with National Runaway Switchboard in 2006, and starting next week Ludacris will appear in two 30-second and two 60-second commercials which will educate viewers on the shocking statistic of runaway children in the U.S. Since becoming partners, the NRS has seen a 50% increase in calls to its hotline [1-800-RUNAWAY] and a 60% increase to its website www.1800RUNAWAY.org. Executive director of NRS, Maureen Blaha stated, “Between 1.6 and 2.8 million youth run away in a year. Having Ludacris featured in this PSA campaign will help ensure that every runaway and at-risk youth and their family know about the help they can receive by calling 1-800-RUNAWAY.”by Lucas DiGia & Robby Uppal
