August 6, 2007 - Hip Hop officially has a bit of crunch in it. Romeo Miller, the son of Percy “Master P” Miller, recently purchased Rap Snacks Inc., a popular potato chip brand. Rap Snacks were founded in 1994 by James “Fly” Lindsey, and each Rap Snack bag includes a cartoon image and biography of a rapper who is endorsing the product, which are dubbed “The Official Snack of Hip Hop.”
Rap Snacks, Inc., based in Greensboro, North Carolina, had a breakout year in 2006, selling over 3 million bags of chips featuring images of rappers like Murphy Lee, Mack 10 and Master P.
Romeo also hopes to follow in his fathers legendary footsteps by starting his own record label, Take a Stand Records and starting his own clothing company, Gumbo Station.
