July 20, 2007 - As reported by the Associated Press, Michael Jackson’s lawyers at Ayscough & Marar won their suit against him over $216,837 in legal fees not paid. This judgement also includes $39,177 in interest. These fees were for concealment of side information done during the 2005 child molestation trial. Apparently his lawyers worked to prevent the release of certain facts in the case to public scrutiny as well as lawyers in civil court. Jackson attempted to counter-sue the law firm but his case was dismissed.
