August 31, 2007 - Jermaine Dupri plans on making history for our generation by opening up his own night club in Tucker, Georgia. The club, known as Studio 72, puts a twist on the classic Studio 54 in New York.
“Every night is a different theme. Fridays are Krush Groove. Every Friday night we’ll have a different legendary DJ, starting with Frank Ski then the following week we have Biz Markie, then D-Nice,” stated Dupri.
Dupri’s Studio 72 boasts a furnished lobby area with 5 chandeliers, a number of flat screen TV’s, an Aquarium and art on the ceilings. Dupri’s club opened on Wednesday, August 29.
