THE PRIZE
The winner will receive a backstage pass for his/her self and a friend to any show on the Hieroglyphics’ upcoming tour (see dates below). You will get a chance to hang out with the crew, mingle and have the most intimate concert experience possible. The second place winner will receive a Hiero logo t-shirt and an autographed copy of Opio’s upcoming album, Vulture’s Wisdom, Volume One.

THE CONTEST
We are calling all producers signed or unsigned, known or unknown - your name doesn’t matter as long as you have talent - to step up and remix Opio’s “Stop the Press”, the first single off his upcoming solo album, Vulture’s Wisdom, Volume One. Your remix must be an original beat, and must be your work. This is not a mash-up contest. From all submitted remixes, we will choose 5 finalists. The finalists will then go up for a pubic vote, with the winners being chosen by the people.

HOW TO ENTER
To submit a remix, please attach it as 192 kbs mp3 file to an email and send it to submissions [at] dropmagazine.com. For the subject of the email, please put “Hiero Remix Contest” and in the body Please give us your producer name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and a link to your website or myspace page.*

Also, please name the mp3 file as follows: Stop_the_Press-Your_Name_Remix.mp3 (with your name replacing the “Your_Name”, obviously)

We have the right to reject any submissions that do not follow the above guidelines. Please double check your formatting before you submit.

Only one entry per person will be considered. If you submit more than one entry then we will only consider the first one we receive. If you would like to change or resubmit your entry, then please note it as a “RESUBMISSION” in the body of the email. We will consider only the most recently received “RESUBMISSION” email.
