Leo Nevilo and The Highest Child deserve the prizes here. The remixes actually sound well composed.
The Highest Child gave it that West Coast low rider vibe that Opio sounds “casual” over.
Leo Nevilo gave it what seems to be a hipster-fied touch to Opio’s vocals, but it works really well.
Serious? Highest Child reminds me of this track RZA did on Kill-Bill..just aight i guess, and Leo Nevilo’s sounds like a fake new-era neptunes/nerd song..in terms of fitting the style, Adamatic definetely matched it up with the right amount of eletronic sound to a heavy bass beat.
The highest child definately got it. its the most smooth out of them all. the lyrics actually sound like they go to the beat. ITS A WRAP!
Definately Adamatic, that shit is straight up “rollin thru the streets at night in your car just chillin” style. The darkness of it and little complexities are what make it.
My Breakdown, they’re all pretty tight…Boru got a cool, old-school funky style, it actually sounds like some older hiero-style production, its real hip-hop. Leo’s beat is real professional sounding, with dope switch ups throughout the verses that are reallll smooth, definitely creative, he has a vox in the verses that kill it, definitely has a crossover element to it that I appreciate. Messy’s has a cross-over element too, its creative and professional, had me question how it was produced..(the drums are so live!) real impressive. Adamatic’s beat has a real industrial feel with the drums, the instruments are real sinister, however probably the most basic of the 5 (not always a bad thing, people still diggin it yo!). The Highest Child’s beat is real raw west-coast, mixed wit some bouncy east-coast drums. Definitely gets ya head bobbin… Anyway, gave my votes to Messy Million for Creativity and Professionalism, and The Highest Child for overall Dopeness..

‘Adamatic’ Period. Not cuz it’s the best but cuz the rest is too over the top. Sounds like there was too many different beats and/or rhythms at the same time. If it there is a close second it would prolly be Highest Child. One.
I don’t even make beats professionally an coulda come up wit somethin betta than Adamatic on my lil sis’ old keyboard…everyone else blows this cat away…not even a contest…Messy’s was original as hell an took my second vote…like the live soundin drums, but off-beat was a lil much for tha track…the creativity was there tho…The Highest Child absolutely murders this field tho…it ain’t even close…production sounds like the most professional quality, and the beat slapps harder than tha rest…got that old skool dr. dre feel…keep doin ya thang The Highest Child
The Highest Child is where its at!!!
NO DOUBT HIGHEST CHILD DESERVES IT. THAT SHIT GOES!!
WHAT?! how is The Highest Child not on the top, whos doing all the voting here? THC’s shit is fire, check out his space hes got just as tight beats there, but cmon no one can hold a handle to THC’s remix get to voting people! THE HIGHEST CHILD!
Yeah… I picked Adamatic then Highest Child. Both those are tite. Adamatic’s is like a cross between that song The Who off Hiero’s Third Eye Vision cd and something off like Mobb Deep’s Hell on Earth. Love that ish. Highest Child got that dark flav too. Boru sounding too DJ Shadowy for Hiero vocals overtop of it. That joint would do good on like a scratch instrumental cd. Leo’s, I dunno, sounds hella Casio keyboard for my taste. Messy kinda reminds me of some Outkast usage of some DnB type breaks, but IMO Outkast hasn’t been sweet since Aquemini or older, so there that go.
Messy Million is the truth. Period.
Does anyone ears work here? Or is everyones speakers broken? THE HIGHEST CHILD hands down and somehow hes in last?! Goddamn you all better get to voting. Cut the bullshit and give THE HIGHEST CHILD another listen…. One
sorry marco, just not into recycled dre keys
I dont see how Adamatic is winning by so much, I’d be pissed too… a simple melody fruity loop beat is beating Messy’s professionalism, Leo’s creativity, and Highests bounce. I think “played out dre keys” are much more refreshing than lo-fi fuity-loop synth.. and the other day said Leo’s beat sounded too “casio keyboard” but still liked Adamatic’s synth? hows that work.. Adamatic’s synth is more “casio keyboard” than Leo’s. Props to Leo Messy and Highest, Real Recognize Real.
Leo Nevilo is fresh as fuck yo. I cant lie…
“You never did a show where they wil’n wit hammas!!!”
I liked leo the most then messy. Adam just sounded like he wanted to be dark with it. boru had to much going on in the intro and it turned me away. THC was pretty good but I only had 2 votes. Will there be a runner up single made of this?
“not into recycled dre keys?” are ya nuts bro…pretty safe to say that almost any artist on the planet would kill fools to get a chance to rap over a dre throw-away-beat…besides, this is an original beat by a young producer, that happens to have some dre flavor to it…dre’s still got errybody on the planet waitin for detox…and ya hatin on a cat that strikes a resemblence to elements of tha doc’s sound?…just a guess here, but if history is any indication, The Highest Child has a long production future ahead of him.
im gna have to agree with Big D. The highest child in last wtf fuck is up with the hip hop game? Yall ears must be broken 4 real. Adamaticas beat shows no skill as a producer at all. way to simple. if anything else leo kills it to. start voting people give me a break!
Here’s the point Big D; people are still waitin for Detox (including myself), because Dre always comes with a new sound and a new style. Constantly progressive. This dude took some tired Dre keys, threw some synth and some drums behind em, and calls it a beat. I’m hatin on the sound because it isn’t original, and it isn’t creative. And I hope he does have a long prosperous future ahead of him for real.
Like I said, I STILL Feel like all your speakers, and/or ears are broke as fuck. Adamatic’s shit sounds like something that was made in FL Studio in like 5 minutes, and it sounds weak….Its NOT EVEN MIXED WELL! He tries to play his weak beat over the vocals, maybe if it was a banger he could get away with it. Messy Million’s shit starts off with a real original sound, but loses it as soon as the beat comes into play, its like he was trying to do way to much shit with it, i hear like 5 different drum players, a trumpet player, and someone smashing symbols together…..No structure PERIOD. Leo, and Boru im sorry i don’t even know where to being with your guys beats….This is the problem with hip-hop today, and thats why there are weak artists out there, because people like you go buy their weak ass CD’s you know who you are RAE. Anyways arguing on the net is like running a race in the special olympics, even if you win, your still a fuckin retard. ONE.
Maybe this is a government experiment to see if people want hip hop to stand still, in which case their hypothesis that Highest child will get most votes is a clear reflection of our need for whats already known. I can tell Highest has skills but I’d feel bad if Opio had to associate with such a Dre sounding beat. In the same light, but more specific to the Heiro style Boru makes a dope one, Heiro classic sound with the newer tech and clean sound. Tight if you dont want things pushed too far.
Adamatic! Thats one extra kick off of drum n base! All those sounds.. And how is it that Leos’ as well falls way in the electric genre, Dub-step! Still pretty slumpy and creative with all the videogame sounds. Both tight beats though, Id want them around for something.
-Messy- This gets my #1 vote. Creative, but not over the edge. Opios flow sounds sick over the drums, B-boy style! Some are saying its cluttered, but in fact its the most open, check the pauses, the drops on Opios punchlines n actual content being used in the beat. Messy overall, tie between Boru and Leo..Id say..
