September 7, 2007 - GZA is scheduled to perform his 1995 classic album, Liquid Swords, in its entirety in Brooklyn on September 15. This concert comes just over a year after Jay-Z performed his 1996 classic Reasonable Doubt at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The GZA will perform all 13 songs off Liquid Swords, including “Cold War”, “4th Chamber” and “Shadowboxin’”.
The show will take place at Brooklyn’s McCarren Park Pool and will also serve as a benefit concert to aid the Open Space Alliance of North Brooklyn, a non-profit Organization focused on bettering and acquiring parks in Brooklyn. Tickets are on sale now at ticketmaster.com.
