Reggae stars Sizzla and Elephant Man were scheduled to perform at Toronto’s Kool Haus last Friday (September 28) and this Friday (October 6) respectively, but shows for both artists were cancelled amidst controversy over anti-gay lyrics in their music.
According to the Toronto Star, the cancellations follow vehement outcry from a coalition of some 20 organizations known as Stop Murder Music Canada, who pushed to have Sizzla and Elephant Man banned from entering the country, citing their music as hate propaganda…
