Busta Rhymes was released on $7,500 bail on Thursday after being arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired. The rapper will be arraigned next Tuesday and will coincide on the same day with Rhymes’ trials for two assault charges.
Reportedly, Rhymes told police that he had only consumed one shot of Hennessey before operating his 2006 Yukon Denali. Also, the rapper apparently failed a sobriety test but was tested to have a .067 blood alcohol level when tested at the police station. New York’s legal limit is .08.
