On the day that the new Portishead was annouced as the #7 album on the Billboard 200, Ohio producer/MC Ill Poetic appropriately drops a mash-up project pitting Joe Budden’s Mood Music 3 vs. Portishead’s Third. In Ill Po’s words, “The following LP chops and layers Portishead’s Third (with some old ones in there, too) with Joe Budden’s Mood Muzik 3, creating the kind of dark, atmospheric LP that your cousin drinks bourbon in a bathtub to with the lights dimmed.”
