Andre ‘3000′ Benjamin is set to release a new album, featuring original songs he both wrote and produced for his Cartoon Network animated series, Class of 3000. The 14-track CD comes on the heels of the debut of the second season of his show. The animated series was one of the Cartoon Network’s highest watched debut’s back in November 2006. The show is set in Atlanta and follows the exploits of a superstar Sunny Bridges who left all the fame and glamour behind to teach a group of prodigies at his Alma matar, the Westley School of Performing Arts. The album Class of 3000: Music Volume One hits stores July 3.
