Drop is dedicated to fostering the open, intelligent discussion of hip hop and the subjects surrounding it. We want to represent the true voice of the hip hop community and to do that we need smart people like YOU to contribute. Help us create a better hip hop site and a better world by bringing intelligent and informed articles back to hip hop.

If you have a thought on anything ranging from hip hop to politics to just life in general, send it into us at submissions@dropmagazine.com. and we’ll publish it! The ONE REQUIREMENT is whatever you write must be over 450 words and must be good! Only quality, well thought out writing will be accepted. If you take your writing seriously, so will we! If you have a thought in less than 450 words, please feel free to post comments.

WHY DROP IS DIFFERENT
Drop is different in that we provide ALL READERS the opportunity to contribute directly to the content of the site. By getting contributions from every type of hip hop fan, we can ACCURATELY portray how the hip hop community reacts to stories, trends, points of interest surrounding the culture. We don’t have editors who choose what stories are relevant; we leave it up to YOU.

DROP GOES BEYOND HIP HOP
Being avid fans ourselves, we realize that the average hip hopper has interests beyond hip hop. We aim to create a website that is home to all the content relevant to hip hop fans, whether it be relevant political news, the latest Google product, or the lowdown on the new Nas album, if it’s something that a hip hop fan would be interested in, you can find it at Drop.
